Barragem Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Dam was inaugurated on March 11, 2002, by President Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Garibaldi Alves Filho, the governor of Rio Grande do Norte at that time. This dam is the second largest water reservoir in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, with a storage capacity of 599,712,000 m³.
Luiza Cantofa Indian Museum
The first indigenous museum in Rio Grande do Norte was inaugurated on July 26, in the municipality of Apodi. The Luiza Cantofa Indian Museum preserves the memory, maintains the identity, and collects artifacts from indigenous groups that have lived and continue to live in Apodi and other regions of the state.
